SAFETY & WELFARE
You’re in safe hands!
We at the INTERSPORT Elverys FAI Summer Soccer Schools pride ourselves on delivering a top-quality service each and every year to ensure that your child gets the most out of his/her camp. As such, the following safety measures, evaluation systems & controls are in place:
- In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, extra
precautions have been put in place to mitigate the risk of any person attending
our camps from contracting any disease whilst on our camp. These measures are
in line with the FAI Safer Return to Play Protocol (Click
here to learn more) and expert advice from the Government, HSÉ and Health
and Safety Consultants.
All participants should complete the Participant Health Declaration Form within 48 hours of your camp start date – Complete the form here
Garda Vetting & Safeguarding
All INTERSPORT Elverys FAI Summer Soccer School coaches are Garda Vetted, reference checked and have completed the Safeguarding 1 workshop. We want to ensure that your child is in safe hands at all times.
Every year, random camps will be selected for audits which will be carried out by a team of internal and external auditors. They will ensure camp safety standards are maintained at all times.
Throughout the summer, we will issue surveys to all of our parents who have provided e-mail addresses. This is to get your take on how the camps went – what you loved, what you didn’t and what you’d like to see in the future.
Finally, we will survey all of our Head Coaches and Host Venue Coordinators, again to see how we can continue to adapt the programme going forward.
